What a fantastic evening it was lighting the Christchurch Casino gold for the beginning of child cancer awareness month. We had a fun time putting it together and the electricians worked super hard. We were incredibly lucky to have the CEO Brett Anderson join us and More FM Canterbury who did face painting. A big thank you to Jean Hilton from Click this Photography who took all the photos. The cold, wet weather didn't dampen our spirits. Emma Hurley and Aaliyah-Rose Waho from Christchurch and Rhiannon Kathryn Nottage from Wellington came to flick the switch on. Thank you to everyone who froze and shivered with us - it was a fantastic way to start child cancer awareness in Christchurch.
